Including sustainability in onboarding training ensures that sustainable practices become part of everyday lab work from the beginning. It helps maintain consistency, sets clear expectations for new lab members, and reinforces a culture of shared responsibility for environmental impact.
Training should be concise and target high impact areas. Avoid excessive volumes. Also offer existing online training modules for existing laboratory members (see links to online training sites below) who have already been onboarded.
