Details
When your equipment is uncalibrated, errors in measurement may occur which can negatively impact results and in turn lead to wasted resources, such as consumables, time and money. As such, ensure that any equipment is appropriately calibrated according to usage and manufacturer specifications.
Consider equipment used to execute or record study parameters such as;
- Devices used for bioanalysis studies such as metabolic, respiratory or cardiovasular measurements
- Scales or body composition devices
- Larger fitness equipment.
Additionally, equipment used in biochemical and lab testing experiments and also devices used to monitor the environment should be included in your list to calibrate regularly.
