Details
Green Chemistry aims to reduce or eliminate hazardous substances and minimise environmental impact by designing safer, more efficient chemical processes. The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry (and complementary Green Engineering, and/or Green Analytical Chemistry) provide checklists for researchers and chemical engineers to use when designing new materials, products, processes and systems.
This action encourages research groups to promote these principles, display them in the laboratory, and discuss how they can be applied in everyday work.
