Details
Animal feed should be provided inaccordance with legislation, welfare needs and any scientific requirement. For Animals required to be provided food ad-libitum, there is the potential for significant wastage. This waste is costly in terms of being produced, supplied, moved throughout the facility and ultimately disposed of. Any reduction in excess feed has a significant impact on the facility's sustainability. This is especially the case where animal feed is required to be irradiated or autoclaved into/out of facilities.
